Lake access

The lake is surrounded by private land. Public access is through the commercially run Half Moon Lake Resort at the south end, which is open in the summer months and has campsites, a developed beach and a boat launch.

Buying at Half Moon Lake

The hamlet began in the late 1950s, when land north of the lake was subdivided into residential lots, with the south side following soon after. Being this close to Sherwood Park and Edmonton, most sales are year-round acreage homes, so compare lot size, house size and frontage.
